Maybe there is a better way?

Incentive Leisure Group on the Market to Timeshare Owners

Incentive Leisure Group has been the leading marketer of Designer Way Vacation Club (DWVC) since early 2000. During nearly a decade of selling this fabulous product we have surveyed in excess of 50,000 holiday makers.

These surveys assist us to more fully understand the customer. We communicate this data to DWVC who, over the years, have been able to improve upon the product through this knowledge.

Our surveys are sectional, covering all types of holiday makers. One category is for owners of timeshare, who, we were pleased to discover, found DWVC more attractive than their timeshare. DWVC is far more flexible than timeshare and solves many of the problems that timeshare owners experience with lack of availability and the costs associated to its use.

Consider a comparison between DWVC and a typical timeshare:

1. Subscription Fees
DWVC’s Annual Subscription Fee is £75.00 and has not been increased since the year 2000, with no plans to increase it in the foreseeable future.

Timeshare has an annual, and ever increasing, maintenance fee of from £200 to over £2000. Recent studies indicate a 150% increase in fees over the past 8 years. Additionally there are fees required in order to join and use the option of an exchange program.

2. Legal Ramifications
DWVC does not repossess the membership when a member falls on hard times, nor do they force members to pay fees under threat of County Court Judgment. If a member falls behind, his usage is merely suspended until he wishes to re-subscribe.

Timeshares have in the past been repossessed when the owners have stumbled upon hard times and been unable to pay maintenance fees. Although the latest trend is the practice of non- repossession and forcing the client, through threatened court action to continue to pay regardless of financial capability or product usage.

3. Transfer of ownership
DWVC’s transfer fee to change title of membership from one individual to another is £70.00, it has never increased and there are no future plans to increase it.

Timeshares initially charged a reasonable administration fee of between £25 and £70 to transfer and re-issue new certificates. Today we are aware of transfer fees on simple timeshares of £1300 and ranging to over £2000 on timeshare points schemes.
We are aware of at least one developer’s management company whose fees are higher if they discover that the member used a commercial entity to assist them in transfer of ownership.

4. Non-usage
DWVC is a “Pay as you go” system, as is every Travel Agency; if you don’t use anything, you don’t pay for it.

Timeshare forces you to pay maintenance fees (and in some cases exchange membership) regardless of usage; even if you stay home, don’t holiday and do not use your timeshare, you pay every year.

5. Availability
DWVC has a mass of unrestricted, available inventory, with over one million holiday weeks at the time of this writing; all live and on line for members to search, choose and book from the comfort of their home.

Our survey respondents indicated extreme disappointment with the timeshare exchange programmes, stating overwhelmingly that they seldom received a satisfactory selection and rarely, if ever achieved their first choice destination, unless they were returning to their home resort. A high degree of dissatisfaction was also voiced regarding loss of exchange fees when owners tried to retrieve their own weeks following an unsuccessful exchange attempt.

6. Choice
DWVC offers a choice of every conceivable type of holiday accommodation; apartments and hotel rooms of all sizes and from 3 to 5 star; Villas of up to 7 bedrooms, plus boats, cruises and every offer available from all reputable travel agencies; and, of course, timeshare apartments too.

However of very good quality, timeshare limits the owner to self catering timeshare apartments.

7. Financial Viability
DWVC is so cost effective that they include a “double the difference” price guarantee. If a member finds a lower price for the same accommodation, anywhere,
DWVC will pay the client double the difference. This confidence comes from their cost effective buying power to secure unused inventory and pass it on to the consumer without a profit element added on. Thereby, members are fully assured of the lowest possible price.

Timeshare is far from cost effective and is even considered by many to be an onerous acquisition due to its ever increasing associated fees.

Do you want to sell your timeshare?

“At last I got rid of my timeshare”

http://www.iwanttosellmytimeshare.co.uk/

Yes I really have got rid of my timeshare!

After what seemed like an eternity of trying I have eventually got rid of my timeshare, I never realised how difficult it was going to be or the pitfalls along the way I must have fell for every trick in the book.

Not Through the re-sale agents, I spent thousands with them!

No not through the so called re-sale agents, after receiving dozens of un-wanted phone calls I weakened on more than one occasion and paid a total of more than £3,000 to different agents. When they told me they had already sold the week they sounded very convincing but that was the last I heard of them

Then a friend recommended I speak to the girls

How different, they didn’t ask me for any fees just to be placed on a list; they simply booked me a consultation at a local office where I could go along to receive some straight forward advice and then they said it was up to me, I could take the advice if I liked it or leave it if I didn’t.

It Worked for me

After being guaranteed a genuine offer, I went along, they were very polite and informative and I was amazed to find out that I could get rid of my timeshare, get up to 100% of my asking price, have the quality flexible holidays that I bought the timeshare for in the first place and all for less than I was already spending on management fees!

Are you serious about getting rid of your timeshare?

If you are serious about disposing of your timeshare and getting up to 100% of your money back, take my advice call the girls, see if your timeshare is something they are interested in, even the call is free

Timeshare Clearance Sales.com

12.02.2009 - Timeshare Clearance Sale

http://timeshareclearancesale.com/

Following great success in clearing excess timeshare stock on ebay Trade Weeks have decided this week to establish a UK company called Timeshare Clearance Sale Limited, as Trade weeks wishes to limit its own activities to wholesaling to the trade.

The new company will be wholly owned by Trade Weeks and will establish a web based auction site to clear excess stock from Trade Weeks direct to the general public or to any corporate who wishes to bid for the stock.

Mr Simon Mullish of Trade Weeks said “The new company will be in a unique situation as we will be passing our excess stock on at zero cost with an additional marketing budget to dispose of the weeks, we are able to do this because we purchase in bulk timeshare stock taken in part exchange by developers and marketers, we give them an across board price for the stock which is admittedly very low, however we commit to taking all the stock which saves them having the distraction of dealing with it themselves. Once we have the stock we wholesale it mainly to the re-sale industry and secondly to resorts who are cleaver enough to buy back weeks in order to protect their retail price this puts us into a profitable situation but almost always leaves us with some excess stock that costs us a great deal to maintain hence we will pass this on to Timeshare Clearance Sale Limited who will sell through the auction sites with reserve prices as low as £10.00, great news for the consumer and a fun way to buy timeshare”

Trade Weeks are currently establishing the Company, the web site and deciding where to locate offices in the UK, they expect to be trading before the end of the second quarter
